Master the crease with data-driven coaching. We break down your technique—from grip to power hitting—to help you build a game that stands up under pressure.

About Batting Masterclass
You can have all the talent in the world, but if your weight transfer is wrong, you are losing power before you even hit the ball. In our sessions, we strip your technique back to the basics—grip, stance, and follow-through. We use high-speed video analysis to show you exactly where your movement breaks down, so we can fix the mechanical flaws before they become permanent bad habits in your game.
Our Approach to Batting
We do not believe in cookie-cutter coaching. Every batter has a unique physiology, and our job is to optimize your natural style. When you join our batting masterclass, we start by analyzing your biomechanics. Are you a front-foot player? Do you generate power from your hips or your shoulders? We answer these questions using video feedback to help you understand your own game.
Technical Drill Breakdown
Our training at the Backyard Sports Club in Sector 63 covers the entire range of strokes:
- The Setup: Refining your grip and backlift to ensure you have a trigger movement that helps you stay relaxed and ready.
- Power Hitting: Training the kinetic chain. We teach you how to time your weight transfer so the bat hits the ball at the exact moment of peak momentum.
- Shot Selection: Learning to read the bowler's length. We use bowling machine sessions to simulate speeds of 130kmph+, training your eyes to identify and react to yorkers, bouncers, and slower balls.
The Mental Game
Technique is only half the battle. A batting masterclass is incomplete without mental toughness. We work on your concentration during long spells, teaching you how to stay present between deliveries and manage the pressure of match situations. Whether you are aiming for selection or just want to improve your strike rate, our focus is on building a disciplined, smart, and aggressive batter who can handle any surface.
