How Bulk Catering Works

• Build your own spread: Pick any items from our full menu, from bakes and snacks to full packed meals and biriyani. There are no fixed per-guest packages.
• Packing: Bakes, snacks and desserts arrive individually packed per person, ready to eat, for easy distribution. For meal boxes you choose between individual compartment trays or one bulk container to serve out yourself.
• Scale: Large batch orders are routine for us. Tell us your headcount early and we will be straight with you about what we can commit to and how much notice we need.
• Standing orders: If you want the same thing every week or every day, we are happy to set that up. 10 boxes a day is enough to make it work.
• No fixed menu in mind? Tell us the requirement and we will put together a few bundled options at different price points.
• Samples: Give us two days and we will send samples of the dishes you are considering, charged at our bulk rate. On a really big order we will usually do it free.
• Custom branding: We can put your logo, event name or a themed design on the boxes. Just tell us at the time of ordering, around a week ahead, and send us the artwork.

About Pricing

• Prices shown are a guide range. For bakes, snacks and sweets, these rates apply from 50 units and above, which can be one item or added up across your whole order. For full meal boxes, they apply from 15 to 20 boxes upwards. Share your headcount and menu and we will work out the numbers with you.
• Bakes, snacks and sweets sit at the lower end of the range, and full meal boxes at the upper end.
• On top of item price: Actual delivery cost (via Porter, passed on with no markup), a packaging charge decided by the delivery method (roughly 10 to 12 percent), and 5 percent GST.

What's Included / Not Included

• Included: The food, individually packed and delivered.
• Not included: No live counters, on-site cooking, buffet setup, chafing dishes, warmers, plates, cutlery or service staff. Supply only; the host manages serving.
• More than one venue: We can deliver to two or more locations on the same order, as long as you tell us what goes where.
• Hot food: We pack into thick carton boxes right after cooking, so food reaches you warm. It won't hold heat all day, so plan serving within a couple of hours.

Good To Know

• Lead time: 2 days (48 hours) notice, whatever the size. Larger orders benefit from more notice so we can source and prep.
• Delivery time: Needs to be fixed with us in advance, along with the delivery method.
• Order minimum: Rs 3,000 for bakes, snacks and sweets, plus any item-level minimums. Meal boxes work differently: we go by box count there, from 15 boxes.
• Advance: At least 30 percent advance to lock the booking, balance on completion.

How It Works

• Pick from our menu: Choose any items from our full menu (savory snacks, buns, calzones, wraps, puffs, cookies, donuts, brownies, pastries, tarts, muffins and cakes).
• Sweets and desserts: Gulab jamun, rasagulla, fruit custard, kesari, carrot halwa, bread halwa and sahlab, in individual portions. Fruit bowls, salad bowls and chickpea salad also available.
• Individually packed: Every item is packed per person or per portion, ready to eat, so there is no serving or plating to manage.

About Pricing

• Prices shown are for orders of 50 units and above and are best read as a guide range. The 50 units can be of one item or added up across your whole order.
• Smaller orders (under 50 units) are priced individually and work out higher per piece. For these we prefer to talk to you directly so we understand what you need before quoting.
• On top of item price: Actual delivery cost (booked via Porter, passed on with no markup), a packaging charge decided by the delivery method (roughly 10 to 12 percent), and 5 percent GST.

Good To Know

• Order minimum: Minimum order value of Rs 3,000, whatever the quantity.
• Item minimums: Some items have their own minimum quantity (for example cinnamon rolls minimum 3, cookies minimum 30 pieces). These apply on top of the order minimum.
• More than one venue: We can deliver to two or more locations on the same order, as long as you tell us what goes where, at a delivery time fixed in advance.
• Format: Drop-off delivery. No waiters, warmers or setup.

Veg Meal Boxes

• Chapathi, rice, palya, dal, pickle, rasam and curd, with your choice of main: paneer butter masala, mixed veg curry, bhindi masala, aloo palak, South Indian sambar, dal tadka, palak paneer or gobi manchurian.
• Veg biriyani with pickle and raita. Veg pilav with raita and pickle.

Non-Veg Meal Boxes

• Biriyani: mutton, chicken or donne biriyani, each with raita and pickle.
• Rice and curry: chicken curry with chilli chicken, mutton curry, chicken kabab, butter chicken with fried rice, ghee rice with chicken manchurian, or chicken fried rice.
• Mediterranean: chicken kabsa with tomato salsa, chicken mandi with salsa and mayo dip, or grilled chicken with pitta bread, hummus and babaganush.
• Other: broast chicken with fries, coleslaw and bun. Veg and non-veg noodles.

Breakfast Boxes

• White dosa with potato curry, string hopper with egg curry, kulcha with green peas curry and chutney, or poori with chenna curry. Tea comes in a lidded flask that holds three to four cups, with serving cups.

Also Available

• Bechamel Macaroni (Veg / Non-Veg): Creamy baked pasta with golden cheese in a 450ml foil container.
• Dessert: Add a dessert portion to any box if you want one, from gulab jamun and rasagulla to carrot halwa, bread halwa or sahlab.

Build It Your Way

• Every box is put together to your requirement. Swap the main, drop what you don't want, add what you do. There is no fixed thali here.
• Minimum: 15 to 20 boxes for a one-off order. For a standing daily order we can work with 10 boxes a day.
• Diets: We can do no-onion no-garlic and gluten-free on request, though we haven't made these before, so tell us exactly what you need. Nuts can be left out of any bake.

Packaging & Logistics

• Container: Your choice of a sectioned meal tray with separate compartments for rice, roti, curry, a side and a sweet, with a clear lid, the same standard tray the big hotel chains use, or everything in one bulk container if you would rather serve it out yourself.
• Cutlery: A fork plus a sealed spoon, fork and knife pack, and a tissue, with every meal.
• Staying warm: We pack into thick carton boxes straight after cooking, never reheated, and food has always reached our clients warm. It won't stay hot for a whole day though, so plan to serve within a couple of hours.
• Delivery to more than one place: We can drop to two or more locations on the same order, just tell us what goes where.
• Fixed delivery time: We need the delivery time and method confirmed in advance. For early morning drops we pre-book the delivery the day before.

Good To Know

• Order minimum: For meal boxes we go by the number of boxes rather than a rupee minimum, so 15 boxes is enough to place an order.
• Lead time: 2 days (48 hours) notice, whatever the size of the order. At a push we can work with 24 hours.
• Halal only: We are a Muslim family, so no pork. Veg, eggless, chicken, mutton, fish and egg all available. Our kitchen has separate veg and non-veg sections, so pure veg orders stay pure veg.
• Rescheduling: Free if you move the date more than 3 days ahead of the event. Inside 3 days we've already bought the ingredients, so a 10 to 15 percent charge applies.
• Volume note: Large batch meal orders are routine for us and we run them regularly out of our kitchen. Give us your headcount early so we can plan the sourcing and prep properly.
