This is my core philosophy. We use exercise to build a strong, balanced body and food to nourish it and burn fat effectively. It's about training smart and using mindful movement to get the best results.
As my father, Samir Purohit, explains here, nutrition is the most important part of any workout regime. Without the right fuel, your body can't perform or recover optimally. We believe in a mind-body approach where fitness and food work together.
What you eat is just as important as how you work out. A balanced diet provides energy for your workouts, protein for muscle repair, and essential nutrients for recovery and a strong immune system.
A handful of walnuts is a perfect example of smart snacking. Good nutrition combined with daily exercise is the key to boosting energy, managing weight, improving mental health, and sleeping better.
My rule is simple: aim for five different colors of vegetables in your salads each week. This ensures a wide range of nutrients and makes your meals visually appealing and delicious.
Staying hydrated is essential, and my go-to is fresh coconut water. It's a natural source of electrolytes that replenishes your body far better than sugary sports drinks.
A green flag for a healthy lifestyle is enjoying nutritious meals. Food is meant to be shared and enjoyed, and making healthy choices together can be a wonderful way to connect.

I do not believe in handing you a rigid, unmanageable diet chart. Instead, we look at your current habits, from your sleep patterns to your social life, and make small, sustainable swaps. We focus on simple goals like the five-color rule for your vegetables and proper protein intake to fuel your workouts, ensuring you do not just eat to lose weight, but eat to thrive and actually enjoy your meals.
My Nutrition Philosophy
For me, food is fuel. I look at nutrition exactly how I look at Pilates. It is about quality, not quantity. You should not have to starve to see results, and you certainly should not have to feel guilty about what you eat. My goal is to help you build a relationship with food that is sustainable and enjoyable.

I do not offer one-size-fits-all meal plans. What works for your friend will likely not work for you. We start with a 45 to 60 minute lifestyle audit to deep dive into your stress levels, sleep quality, and eating habits. From there, we build a strategy that fits your real life.
- Training Integration: Whether you do Pilates or EMS, I tailor your pre and post workout nutrition to ensure your body recovers and your muscles get the repair they need.
- Social Life Management: You do not have to stop eating out. We discuss how to navigate restaurant menus and social events so you can maintain your progress without missing out on the fun.
- The 5-Color Rule: My simple rule for salads and meals is to include five different vegetable colors each week. It is an easy way to ensure you get a broad spectrum of nutrients without overthinking it.
