Modular Home Design & Customization Options
Your home shouldn't be a copy-paste job. Whether you prefer the industrial look of corrugated steel or the warmth of fluted wood, we help you mix and match finishes and floor plans to build a space that’s entirely yours.
The exterior finish, or cladding, is key to personalizing your unit. In this video, we explain four popular options: grooved GI steel, classic corrugated steel, versatile Shera board, and our premium WPC fluted cladding.
What do our prefab homes look like inside? This video montage offers a glimpse into various modular kitchen interiors we've designed, from sleek and modern to warm and rustic, showcasing our versatility.

About Design & Customization Options
When you're building a modular home, your exterior cladding is more than just a style choice. While industrial corrugated steel is durable and classic, options like fluted WPC or Shera board panels can completely shift the vibe of your home from a shipping container aesthetic to a modern villa. You need to consider how these materials interact with your local weather and landscape, as they impact both your long-term maintenance and internal thermal comfort.
Customizing a modular home involves balancing aesthetics, functionality, and site conditions. It is not just about picking a color; it is about how the unit sits on your land.
Exterior Cladding Options
The exterior shell is the most visible element of your project. We work with four primary materials:
- Corrugated GI Steel: The classic choice for that industrial container aesthetic. It is rugged, low maintenance, and highly durable.
- Grooved GI Steel: Provides a refined, structured pattern that looks clean in modern settings.
- Shera Board: A fiber-cement panel that is excellent for painting. It offers a smooth, solid finish that hides the modular nature of the build.
- WPC Fluted Cladding: Our top recommendation for a high-end, architectural finish. The wood-plastic composite mimics timber but lasts significantly longer without warping.
Layout Flexibility
Whether you are building a compact 160 sq. ft. studio or a sprawling 3-unit retreat, your floor plan is never set in stone. We regularly implement:
- Mezzanine Lofts: Perfect for maximizing vertical space in compact cabins.
- Double-Height Glass Windows: These transform a small footprint into an airy, open living area by blurring the boundary between indoors and the outdoors.
- Courtyard Orientations: For larger 3BHK projects, we can orient individual units around a central living space, creating a private retreat or dining area.
We design based on your needs, not a rigid catalog. Share your plot dimensions and your vision with us, and we will translate that into a buildable, efficient, and aesthetic plan.
