About Swimming Gala 2024
It is not just about the medals or the speed at our annual Gala. What the photos do not capture is the noise—the non-stop cheering from the sidelines and the buzz in our cafe after the races. We focus on building confidence rather than cutthroat competition, so you will see everyone from first-time learners to our advanced batch taking the plunge with a smile and a lot of support from the rest of the members.
Our Swimming Gala is the highlight of the year at The Float House. While we are known as a social club in Mulund West, this event is where we see the real results of our coaching programs. Whether it is a toddler making their first independent lap or an adult student perfecting their freestyle, this day is all about celebrating the journey, not just the race.

We do not run a standard, high-pressure competition. Our indoor, temperature-controlled facility allows us to host these events regardless of the weather outside. Because our pool is ozonized and comfortably heated, the kids can focus on their technique rather than shivering or worrying about chlorine irritation.
