About Your First Pottery Experience
You do not need any prior experience to enjoy this. In our 2.5-hour taster session, you will get a hands-on introduction to the potter's wheel and hand-building techniques. We maintain a 1:6 instructor ratio so you get plenty of help while you focus on making your first bowl or vase, even if it ends up a little wonky.
Most people walk into our studio having never touched clay before, and that is exactly the point. This session is designed for anyone who wants to press pause on a busy week and try something tactile. We focus on the process, not just the result.
What happens in the session?
For 2.5 hours, you will work on the electric wheel and try basic hand-building. Our instructors guide you through the process of centering, opening, and shaping the clay. You will have unlimited access to clay during the class, and by the end, you will choose one piece to have fired and glazed.
The practical details
Since ceramics is a slow process, your piece needs to go through drying, trimming, and two rounds of firing. It takes about 3 to 4 weeks for your pot to be ready for pickup at our Nehru Place or Gurgaon studio. We provide the aprons and the tools, so just bring yourself and a willingness to get a little dirty.
Why join us?
We believe pottery is a form of therapy. Whether you are coming alone to unwind or bringing a friend, it is a space to disconnect from screens and connect with something real. If you are looking for a creative outlet in Delhi or Gurgaon, this is where you start.
