Kids' Pottery Summer Camps in Delhi & Gurgaon
Swap screen time for mud, imagination, and real-world skills. Our summer camps in Delhi and Gurgaon offer a hands-on escape where kids aged 3–13 get messy, learn pottery basics, and create something unique.
Our summer camp is designed to build skills while having fun. Pottery helps develop fine motor skills, strengthens hand-eye coordination, and brings out the best in every little artist.
Hear directly from one of our happy campers. It's so rewarding to see kids like Sai discover a new passion and proudly show off the pencil stands, bowls, and vases they've made with us.
Look at the concentration on this young potter's face. Our summer camp provides a supportive space for kids to try the potter's wheel and feel the pride of creating something all by themselves.
This young artist is carefully carving details into her hand-built piece during our summer camp. It's amazing to see the intricate ideas kids come up with when they have clay in their hands.
Our summer camp tables are always a hub of activity. Here, a group of girls are using stamps and tools to add texture to their clay slabs, learning new hand-building techniques together.
With rolling pins, clay, and a bit of water, our campers are all set for a creative session. We provide all the tools and guidance needed for them to bring their imaginative ideas to life.
This little one is completely focused on painting her clay creation. Our summer pottery camp includes both shaping and decorating, allowing kids to see their project through from start to finish.
Swap screens for clay this summer. Our camp is all about getting hands messy in the most fun way possible, with both indoor and outdoor sessions to keep things exciting.
As an experienced educator, Kavita Singh knows the importance of screen-free activities. We were so happy to have her endorse our summer camp as a way to keep children occupied, creative, and engaged.

About Kids' Summer Camps
We keep our sessions small and personal to ensure every child gets plenty of one-on-one help. Whether your child is brand new to clay or has tried it before, they will rotate through guided hand-building projects—like pinch pots and slab animals—and get a taster session on the potter's wheel to see how their very own bowls or vases take shape.
Why Pottery is the Perfect Summer Activity
Our summer camps are designed to be a total break from digital devices. When kids walk into our Nehru Place or Gurgaon studios, the focus shifts entirely to the tactile experience of shaping clay. We find that working with clay helps children develop patience and fine motor skills in a way that feels like play rather than a rigid lesson.
What the Week Looks Like
Each camp runs from Tuesday to Friday, giving children a consistent space to build their confidence. We focus on two main areas:
- Hand-building: Using techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab work to create animals, bowls, and custom decor items.
- Wheel Throwing: This is often the highlight. We provide guided access to the electric wheel, letting them feel the clay spin as they try to center it.
Practical Details for Parents
We know summer logistics can be tricky, so we keep our schedule predictable with morning and afternoon slots. All materials, including non-toxic clay, aprons, and tools, are provided at the studio. We even include small snacks—chips and juice—to keep energy levels high. Your child will work on multiple pieces throughout the week, and we select their best creations to be glazed and fired in our kiln. You can come back to collect these finished, food-safe treasures about three weeks after the camp ends.
The Clay Company
I’m Aparna, and I started The Clay Company because I wanted a space where everyone could slow down and get their hands messy. My team and I love seeing kids swap their screens for clay, discovering the calm and focus that comes with making something from scratch.
