Pottery Yard Sales and Community Events
We believe in the power of clay to bring people together. These sales feature unique, handcrafted pieces made by our students, with all proceeds supporting the work at Udayan Care.
I am excited to tell you about our very first Yard Sale. In this video, I explain how we are selling unique pieces made by our students and guests, with all proceeds going to support the wonderful work of Udayan Care.
A quick look at the incredible variety of items available at our 2024 Yard Sale. These one-of-a-kind pieces, made with love by our workshop participants, found new homes while supporting a great cause.
About Community & Special Events
These pieces are the orphaned treasures of our studio—beautiful bowls, vases, and mugs crafted by our students in Nehru Place and Gurgaon that didn't make it home. We finish them with our signature glazes and offer them at these sales so they can find a new purpose while you help us contribute to a great cause.
When we run a pottery workshop, sometimes a bowl or mug stays behind on our drying shelves. Instead of letting them collect dust, we finish them and host these special Yard Sales. It is our way of cleaning house and turning unfinished student work into something meaningful.
Every item you see—from delicate nut bowls to sturdy stoneware mugs—was shaped by a student learning the craft. You are buying a piece of someone's journey, their first wobbly attempt, or their breakthrough moment. Since we are based in both Nehru Place and Gurgaon, our studios often have different collections popping up throughout the year.
Prices are intentionally accessible because the goal is to get this art into your homes while raising funds for Udayan Care. It is not just about shopping; it is about community. Whether you are hunting for a unique, one-of-a-kind vase that no one else in Delhi has, or you just want to support a local NGO, these events are where it happens. Check in with us if you are planning to visit, or ask us about the next sale date.
The Clay Company
I started The Clay Company to help people slow down and find some calm through clay. We love using our space for more than just classes, so hosting charity sales and community events feels like the right way to share that joy with the city.
