Wedding Varmala & Floral Keepsakes in Resin
I turn your sacred wedding flowers into permanent, handcrafted resin art, so the memories of your special day stay vivid and beautiful forever.
If you are getting married soon, think about how you can make your memories last. I preserve wedding varmalas in resin to create keepsakes that you can cherish for a lifetime.
This piece holds a very special story. The lotus was a gift from a fiancé, and I preserved it along with their photo and the exact date and time of their first memory together. It's a timeless reminder of love and new beginnings.

This is one of my favorite creations. A beautiful wedding varmala, with its rich colors and textures, preserved forever in a solid teak wood frame. I included two of the couple's favorite photos to complete their story.

Two garlands, one promise. This geode-style resin plaque beautifully preserves a couple's engagement flowers, complete with their names and special date. It's a modern way to hold onto a traditional memory.
Flowers may fade, but memories shouldn't. This video shows a wedding varmala preserved in a deep wooden frame, complete with fairy lights that add a magical glow, illuminating the flowers and the couple's photo.
This video shows the transformation of a special bouquet into a beautiful resin sphere. It's a powerful reminder that some moments deserve more than just a memory; they deserve to last.

About Wedding & Varmala Keepsakes
Preserving your varmala is not just about drying flowers; it is a delicate, multi-step process. I personally hand-separate every petal, followed by a 3 to 7 day silica dehydration cycle to lock in the color before casting them in multiple layers of UV-resistant resin. This meticulous approach takes about 2 to 3 weeks to complete, ensuring your flowers stay vibrant, protected from yellowing, and perfectly suspended.
How I Preserve Your Memories
When you send me your wedding flowers, whether it is a traditional varmala or a bridal bouquet, I treat them as a piece of your personal history. My goal is to freeze that moment in time, creating a keepsake that sits beautifully on your wall or desk.
The Process
- Dehydration: Fresh flowers contain moisture that will cause rot if sealed directly. I use professional silica sand to gently remove moisture over several days, which preserves the shape and color of each petal.
- Casting: I use a multi-layer pouring technique. This prevents the resin from heating up too much, which could burn the delicate petals. It is a slow process, but it ensures a glass-like finish.
- Finishing: I finish each piece with a high-gloss, UV-resistant epoxy that resists yellowing, so your keepsake remains clear for years to come.
Common Questions
- Can I include a photo? Absolutely. Many of my clients choose to embed a wedding photograph alongside their flowers. I laminate the photos first to ensure they remain waterproof and durable inside the resin.
- How do I choose a frame? I offer various formats, including deep teak wood frames, geode-style plaques, and trays with metal handles. If you have a specific space in your home in mind, let me know, and we can choose a style that fits your decor.
- What if the flowers are old? If your flowers are already dried but not preserved, send me a photo first. If they are too brittle or brown, they may not react well to the resin process. It is always better to send them as soon as possible after your event.
