About Featured
When I preserve your wedding varmala or bouquet, I do not just pour resin over them. I first spend 3 to 7 days manually separating and dehydrating the petals using silica sand to lock in their natural color and shape. This careful prep work is why your flowers won't rot or lose their shade years down the line, ensuring the piece you receive is a permanent fixture rather than a temporary display.
My work at The Craft of Living is all about giving your stories a home. Resin is a brilliant medium because it allows me to freeze moments in time, but the real art lies in the planning and the patience involved in the process.
What I Create
My studio in Thane handles a variety of preservation styles. Whether you have fresh wedding flowers that you want to turn into a functional wall clock, or a meaningful keepsake like a pet's fur or a special coin, I approach every project as a piece of history.
- Wedding Flower Keepsakes: I work with varmalas, bridal bouquets, and anniversary blooms. These are transformed into blocks, trays, or clocks, often using gold foil or vinyl lettering to include names and dates.
- Home Decor: I enjoy blending utility with art, such as creating ocean-themed nameplates for your entrance or intricate Gurbani mantra plates for your prayer space.
- Pet Memorials: These are some of my most meaningful orders. I help pet parents keep a piece of their companions close, encasing fur and photos in keychains that serve as a lasting tribute.
My Process
Every piece is handcrafted over 2 to 3 weeks. I use a multi-layer pouring method to ensure that all embeds—whether flowers, stones, or photos—are suspended correctly without burning. I finish every item with high-gloss, UV-resistant epoxy to delay yellowing, because these items are meant to last a lifetime. If you have an idea, even if it is just a concept, I am happy to guide you on what will look best in resin.
