Preserve Your Wedding Varmala in Resin
I turn your wedding varmala into a timeless keepsake. Whether your flowers are fresh or have been stored for months, I carefully preserve every petal to hold your memories forever.
This three-panel frame was a joy to make. In the center, I preserved the couple's photos and wedding date. On the sides, I carefully arranged their preserved mundavalya and flowers, creating a complete story of their wedding day in one beautiful piece.
Here are two examples of my geode-style plaques. The pink one preserves a couple's varmala flowers with their wedding photo, while the white one celebrates a baby shower. Each one is customized to capture the feeling of the day.
This video shows a few different varmala preservation projects. I especially loved working with the lotus flowers in the first frame, as they had special meaning for the couple. It shows how different flowers and styles can be used to create a unique keepsake.
This beautiful geode plaque was created for a newlywed couple in Dubai. I preserved their wedding flowers alongside their photo and the word 'LOVE' in pearl letters. It's a reminder that love and memories know no distance.
A proposal is such a magical moment. I preserved the flowers from this couple's proposal bouquet in a deep wooden frame, adding their photo and a personal quote. I also made a small keychain with their initial as a little extra memory.
Even when flowers have dried, they still hold their story. This video shows how I took these beautiful dried roses and baby's breath and turned them into a personalized wedding keepsake plaque, complete with the couple's names and wedding date.
Here I am with some of my recent creations, all ready to be sent to their new homes. Seeing these finished frames, each holding a different couple's story, fills my heart with so much gratitude. This is why I love what I do.
From a beautiful wedding day photo to a timeless keepsake. This geode plaque captures the couple's joy, with their photo surrounded by delicate accents and their wedding hashtag. It's a modern and elegant way to preserve a happy memory.
The process starts with carefully drying the varmala flowers to preserve their color and shape. Then, I arrange them in a wooden frame with the couple's photo and name. This piece, with its rich pink and yellow roses, came out so beautifully.
Making sure my clients are happy is the most important thing. For this piece, the client wanted to change the photo after I had started. I was happy to make the change, and the final wedding plaque for the doctor couple turned out perfectly.
About Wedding Varmala Keepsakes
Even if your varmala has been sitting in a box for months, do not worry—I can often still save the petals. I use professional silica sand to gently draw out moisture, which retains much of the original color and shape before I begin the careful process of layering them into resin.
My process is slow and intentional. When your garland reaches my studio in Ghatkopar, I do not just pour resin over it. First, the flowers undergo a specialized drying phase to protect the color and texture far better than air-drying ever could.
Once the petals are ready, we decide on the form. Some couples choose a 10-inch wall clock to keep the memory functional, while others prefer a decorative geode plaque or a deep shadow box frame to display the entire arrangement. If you have other mementos from the day, such as invitation cards, mundavalya, or even photographs, I can incorporate those into the piece as well.
It is important to know that resin is a liquid art; every piece cures differently, meaning your keepsake will be one-of-a-kind. I hand-sand and polish every edge, so the final piece feels smooth and premium. Whether you are here in Mumbai or shipping from abroad, I handle every order with the same care as if it were my own memory.
