Advanced Yoga Inversions & Skill Building
Stop holding back because of fear. We break down complex inversions like headstands and handstands into safe, step-by-step progressions for real results.
My journey to mastering inversions was a process. It involved patience to overcome emotional releases, dedicated core strengthening, and trusting my teachers. In this video, I share the three key steps that helped me conquer my fear of going upside down.
Are you afraid of inversions? I've got your back. This video shows that when you are no longer afraid to do the things that used to scare you, you unlock a new level of confidence. I teach you how to face these fears head-on.
I conquered another layer of fear today! This was a huge milestone: doing a Tripod Headstand with a slow, controlled ascent and descent, with no wall support. This is proof that with consistent practice, you can achieve anything.
Your body whispers before it screams, and I don't wait for the scream. This crow pose (Bakasana) represents proactive strength. It's a reminder to listen to your body and build the power to handle life's challenges.
There is no substitute for hard work. This is me practicing Bakasana (Crow Pose) with a block for added challenge. The results will astound you, but you have to be willing to do the work.
It's frustrating, I know. But all good things take time. Whether it's a headstand or a peacock pose, be patient and stick to the process. The results will come to those who stay consistent.
Nothing worth having in life comes easy. Mayurasana (Peacock Pose) is a testament to that. It requires immense core strength, balance, and patience. This is the kind of skill we work towards in my program.
About this collection
Inversions aren't about ego; they are about understanding your limits and breaking them safely. I never ask you to jump into a headstand blindly. We work on your shoulder stability, core strength, and the mental fear factor using walls and props before we ever try the full pose. It is a slow, methodical process that keeps you safe while you get stronger.
I spent years being scared of inversions—afraid to fall, afraid to fail. That fear doesn't go away until you build the mechanics to support yourself. In these sessions, we deconstruct challenging poses like the Tripod Headstand (Mukta Hasta Sirsasana), Crow Pose (Bakasana), and the Peacock Pose (Mayurasana).
We focus heavily on the preparation—building the wrist strength, shoulder mobility, and core awareness required to actually hold these poses without collapsing. Whether you are a beginner looking to build your first crow pose or a regular practitioner aiming for unsupported handstands, the goal is always the same: building real, functional capability.
I maintain small groups so I can provide real-time corrections. You get immediate feedback on your alignment, helping you avoid the mistakes that cause injury. You don't need to be a gymnast to start. You just need to be willing to do the work and trust the process. Come ready to sweat, learn, and maybe even fall a few times—because that is where the growth actually happens.
