About Performances, Events & Competitions
It is not just about the dance moves. When we prep for competitions or school functions, I focus on the tight formations and that powerful look that makes a group stand out on stage. We work on the details, like how to hold a human pyramid or maintain sync during a patriotic routine, so the kids feel confident, not scared, when the music starts playing.
Performing in front of an audience can be scary, but that is where the magic happens. My goal is to turn that nervous energy into 'masti' and confidence. Whether it is a tribute performance like our Independence Day shows at Delhi Public World School or competing in the A.D.A. Open Dance Championship, we train specifically for the stage environment.
How We Prep for the Spotlight
- Formation Training: We don't just dance in lines. We practice complex formations, pyramids, and transitions that make group routines look professional and engaging.
- Stage Presence: We work on expressions and projection, so the kids do not just dance for themselves but connect with the audience.
- Technical Skill: For competitions, we layer in acrobatics and flips, ensuring every move is backed by safety and proper spotting.
- Confidence Building: I help reduce stage fear by treating every rehearsal like a mini-performance, so when the big day arrives, the kids are ready to shine.
