My Dance Journey and Philosophy
Dance is about feeling the moment and sharing your story. I love finding that spark, and here is how I bring it to life through my choreography.
Feeling free and joyful in a beautiful traditional outfit. This feeling of freedom is what I want all my clients to experience when they dance.
A simple, elegant silk saree. I believe in the grace of traditional Indian attire, and it often inspires the fluid movements in my choreography.
In the misty morning at Nandi Hills, Bengaluru. Nature is my biggest inspiration, and its beauty and peace often find their way into my dance routines.
A quiet moment of reflection. My spiritual side guides my creative process, helping me create dances that are not just movements, but feelings.
A gentle smile and a simple pose. I believe dance is an expression of inner peace and happiness.
Twirling in a garden, feeling the fabric flow. I often incorporate the natural movement of clothing into my choreography to add an element of grace.
A mirror selfie showing off a traditional saree. My personal style is a blend of classic and comfortable, much like my approach to dance.
The elegance of a saree from the back. Every detail, from the drape of the fabric to the posture, contributes to the beauty of a performance.
In front of the beautifully lit Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru. I find inspiration everywhere, from nature to the stunning architecture of the cities I call home.
Finding beauty in the small details, like these woven lamps. My choreography is about finding those small, special moments that make a performance memorable.
About My Dance Journey & Style
I often get asked if you need to be a trained dancer to shine at your wedding. My answer is always the same, absolutely not. My choreography focuses on natural flow and grace, using the movement of your outfit, like a lehenga or saree, to do half the work for you so you feel comfortable and confident.
My philosophy is simple, dance is a conversation with yourself and your audience. Whether we are planning a Sangeet dance or a couple’s performance, I move away from the idea that you need perfect footwork. Instead, I focus on your expressions, your connection to the music, and your comfort. If you are wearing heavy bridal lehengas or traditional sarees, the dance should feel effortless. I guide you to use the fabric and the music to your advantage. This approach comes from my own life, rooted in Jodhpur’s calm and inspired by Bengaluru’s fast-paced energy. I want you to feel that same freedom I find when I am twirling in a garden or soaking up a festival. We will keep it real, keep it easy, and make sure that you are having fun rather than stressing about the next step. Let’s create a performance that feels like a natural extension of who you are, not a forced act.
