High-Energy In-Studio Bollywood Dance Workshops
Step into the studio and let go. Whether you’re a total beginner or a long-time dancer, we’re here for the energy, the thumkas, and the pure joy of moving together.
Nothing beats the energy of a full class, especially for a Holi special. We had a complete dance party, with everyone just letting go and enjoying the festive Bollywood beats together.
This is the vibe of my Bangalore workshops. It's all about bringing style and energy to the dance floor. This is just the beginning of what we're building here.
Kicking off the year with a packed workshop. I love seeing students dive into a new choreography and make it their own. This routine is a taste of the fresh styles I'm excited to teach.
Teaching a workshop to this iconic song was a dream come true. It’s moments like these, sharing a beloved Bollywood track with a room full of passionate dancers, that I feel most grateful for.
A fun, trendy routine from a recent workshop in Bangalore. My classes often feature the latest hit songs, so you can learn the moves you're seeing everywhere.
My happy place is on the dance floor with my students. In every NYC workshop, my goal is to create a comfortable space where everyone leaves feeling amazing about their dancing.
A simple but stylish routine from one of my workshops. Even with my knee brace on, the energy of the class keeps me going. It's all about that feel-good vibe.
A little behind the scenes of how we build a choreography together in class. I love making it interactive, giving everyone a chance to contribute and feel part of the creative process.
Sometimes you just need to take a class and feel that pure high. Here I am, just being a student and soaking in an amazing choreography session in Bangalore.
This is a raw, in-the-moment clip from a class where I was just learning along with everyone else. It’s a reminder that learning never stops, and it’s always fun to be a student.
About In-Studio Workshops
When you walk into one of my workshops, don't worry about nailing the steps perfectly on day one. We start with a 15-minute warmup to shake off the day, followed by a routine I’ve broken down into bite-sized pieces so everyone, even those who think they have two left feet, feels confident. We’re here to sweat, laugh, and record that group video—because, at the end of the day, that post-class happiness is what really matters.
I built these workshops because I know how intimidating a typical dance class can feel. Whether I’m renting a space in Indiranagar, Koramangala, or a studio in Manhattan, the goal is always the same: a non-judgmental, super fun space where you can show up exactly as you are.
Why join a workshop?
These aren't just drill sessions. We focus on 'BollyHop', classic Bollywood thumkas, and fusion choreography that actually feels good to move to. We keep the batch sizes limited to 15-25 people so I can actually connect with everyone in the room.
What to expect:
- The Vibe: It’s high-energy from the moment you walk in. Expect loud music, bad jokes, and a lot of encouragement.
- The Routine: We focus on expression and fun first. I break down the choreography in stages, teaching the steps, then the rhythm, and finally adding the expressions.
- The Souvenir: You get to record a professional-style group video at the end of the session. It’s perfect for your reels or just as a memory of a day well spent.
Is it for you?
If you're in Bangalore or New Jersey/NYC and have been looking for an excuse to dance, this is it. You don't need a background in dance, and you definitely don't need to be 'perfect.' Whether you’re coming with friends or solo, you’ll leave with a smile and maybe a few new moves. If you're nervous, check out my other sessions—we have everything from online masterclasses to private training if you prefer a quieter start.
