Thinking about adding a four-legged member to your family? Let’s make sure you are ready for the journey, not just the cuddles. I’m here to guide you through the process, from choosing the right match for your lifestyle to prepping your home before they even arrive.

This is the story of Roger, who was adopted at three years old. His mom consulted with me before bringing him home, and together we chose Roger based on his temperament and her lifestyle, proving that pre-adoption counseling is a game changer. This video shows that with the right guidance and positive techniques, a dog of any age can be trained and become a wonderful companion.

Wondering if online sessions work? Meet Fiji from Montreal, Canada! Her family reached out to me when she was just a two month old puppy. Through virtual coaching, we set up a schedule for crate training and basic obedience, and this video shows her amazing recall skills. My pre-adoption and puppy coaching services are available to you no matter where you are in the world.

If you are a first time dog parent, these tips are for you. This video covers three essential things you can do right away: redirecting puppy biting with toys, getting your puppy comfortable with being handled, and building focus indoors before tackling the distractions of the outside world. These simple steps are crucial for setting your new puppy up for success.

I believe that adopted Indian dogs are a breed apart, and it is always an honor to earn their trust. Here I am with five month old Joy, who has come so far from his life on the streets to being a cherished family member. My goal is to help families understand the unique needs of indie dogs and build a beautiful, trusting relationship from day one.

My entire training philosophy is about setting your dog up for success. This means putting in the effort to understand them, praising them when they listen, and rewarding them generously for making good choices. This positive, reward based approach builds a strong bond and a dog that loves to learn with you.

A simple shift in perspective can change everything. Instead of asking "Why does my dog do this?", I encourage my clients to ask "What would I rather my dog do?". This helps us focus on teaching desirable behaviors and providing good choices for your dog, which is the foundation of my counseling and training approach.

This is me with my muse and partner in crime, Mishti. Adopting her changed my life and set me on the path to becoming a dog trainer. She is a constant reminder of the incredible bond we can have with our dogs and inspires everything I teach.

About Featured

Choosing a dog isn't about picking the most photogenic breed on Instagram. It’s about being honest with yourself—about your energy levels, your housing space, and your daily routine. In my pre-adoption sessions, we move past the excitement and look at the actual logistics: is your home set up for a high-energy pup, or do you need a lower-intensity companion? Let’s figure out who truly fits your life, not just who looks good on the couch.
