Taekwondo is about mental strength as much as physical speed. I am Master Sachin Kumar, bringing authentic, competition-ready training to Mumbai. Hana, dul, set—let’s get started.

As a coach, I don't just teach, I demonstrate. Here, I am breaking down the Butterfly Kick, also known as a Tornado or Dolgae Chagi. Mastering advanced kicks like this requires a deep understanding of momentum, rotation, and body mechanics, which we drill until it becomes second nature.

Sparring starts with courage and control. I am providing live feedback to my young athletes during a Kyorugi session, teaching them to read their opponent, manage distance, and strike effectively. It's about fighting smart, not just hard.

The goal of our hard work is to stand on the podium. I am incredibly proud to see my students achieve first and second place at the Open State Taekwondo Championship. This is the result of their dedication in the dojang.

Explosive power comes from perfect form. In this clip, I am teaching a student the detailed mechanics of a jumping side kick, focusing on bringing the knee to the chest and kicking with the heel for maximum impact. We break down every move to ensure it's both powerful and safe.

In Taekwondo, your feet are your foundation. This Kyorugi footwork drill, using balance discs and cones, is designed to improve the speed, balance, and power of my students. Quick, agile footwork is essential for both offense and defense in a match.

The journey to becoming a champion can start at any age. Here, I am guiding our youngest athletes through their first sparring exercises. We build a foundation of discipline, respect, and confidence from day one.

My coaching is rooted in authentic Korean Taekwondo. This collage is from my training trip to South Korea, including my time at the Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters. I bring these international techniques and insights directly to my students.

A competition is a test of both skill and nerve. Here, I am coaching one of my youngest competitors right before his match begins, making sure he is focused, confident, and ready to perform. I am with my students every step of the way.

About Featured

Whether you are training for a state championship or simply learning to protect yourself, the approach is the same: discipline first. We do not just teach kicks; we teach you how to read an opponent, control your breathing, and stay calm under pressure. My classes prioritize technical precision, so expect to correct your stance until it is perfect—because in a real match or a belt test, it is the small details that win points.

My training philosophy is rooted in the belief that Taekwondo is a complete system for both the mind and the body. Whether you are a beginner looking to understand the basics or an athlete training for the next championship, my sessions in Malad West are designed to build elite-level technique.

We cover Kyorugi (sparring) with a heavy focus on tactical footwork and scoring efficiency, ensuring you understand the World Taekwondo rules inside out. If you are learning Poomsae, we break down every stance, breath, and rotation to ensure your form is sharp. For my younger students, we create a high-energy environment that builds confidence, respect, and discipline from the ground up.

I do not believe in shortcuts; I believe in the process. We use agility ladders, balance pods, and partner resistance drills to build explosive speed and stamina. I am a 4th Dan Black Belt, Kukkiwon-certified, and I have trained in South Korea, so you get the exact same techniques used by tournament competitors. If you are ready to put in the work and sweat, I am here to guide you through every step, from your first white belt to your competition goals.

I’m Sachin Kumar, a 4th Dan Black Belt, and I live for this sport. I trained in South Korea at the Kukkiwon, and I have spent years figuring out how to make those elite techniques work for students right here in Malad. If you show up ready to work, I will handle the rest.
