You don't need just kicks, you need the right form. Whether it's Naeryeo Chagi or a perfect back kick, I break down every move so you learn to execute with power, speed, and safety right here in Malad West.

This is a tutorial for the Axe Kick, or Naeryeo Chagi. I am showing my student how to bring the leg up straight and high, touching the thigh to the chest, before bringing it down with force on the target.

Here we are drilling the Back Kick, or Dwit Chagi. I am instructing my students to keep their knee and toes pointing downwards and to strike with the heel for maximum power and accuracy.

The Camel Walk Inchworm Pushup is an excellent exercise for building hamstring flexibility and upper body strength. I am demonstrating the correct form, keeping the knees straight and bending from the waist.

Many people ask me how to use a skipping rope correctly. In this tutorial, I explain the basics: rotate from the wrist, keep your body light, and land on the balls of your feet to build stamina and endurance effectively.

This is my dojang, where the training happens. The punching bag, cones, and rings are all tools we use to build well-rounded athletes, ready for any challenge.

Pad work is essential for developing power and precision. Here, I am holding the kicking pad for a student as he practices a high kick, ensuring he makes solid contact with the correct part of his foot.

The punching bag is a great tool for practicing power kicks. My students are drilling their roundhouse kicks, focusing on turning the base leg and generating force from the hip.

About Technique Tutorials & Kick Breakdowns

A powerful kick is 20% leg strength and 80% mechanics. When you see me correcting a student's base leg during a roundhouse, it’s not just for show—it’s about balance and generating force from the hip rather than just the shin. If you’ve ever felt like your kicks lack snap or you lose your footing on impact, it’s usually because you’re rushing the chambering phase. In my sessions, we focus on drilling these micro-movements until they are muscle memory.
