About Your Story, Illustrated
I use a blend of buttercream piping and fondant details to turn your favorite photos or characters into an edible canvas. Since these aren't mass-produced, share your reference image at least 2-3 days early so I can map out the piping technique that best captures your specific look.
Whether you want a stylized portrait of your wedding day or a funny character from your favorite show, an illustration cake is a popular choice because it feels personal. My process starts with your reference photo. I look at the lines and key features, then decide if we need the structure of fondant for the overlays or if we can pull it off with clean buttercream piping. This approach keeps the cake looking like a sketch rather than a stiff, printed image.
If you are planning an anniversary surprise, a simple line-art cake is great for that clean, minimalist aesthetic. For birthdays, character cakes work best with a bit of color and fun detailing. Because I work from my kitchen in Mumbai, every cake is made fresh to order. I do not use edible printers, so expect that unique, hand-piped character in the design.
