Behind the Scenes of Our Newborn Photography

Most people see the final portrait, but the real work happens in the quiet moments before the shutter clicks. Because we come to your home, we schedule 3 to 4 hours for every newborn session. This gives us ample time to work around your baby's feeding, soothing, and diaper change schedule, so you never feel rushed to get that perfect shot.

When we say we bring the studio to you, we mean it. We pack our lights, backdrops, and sanitized props into our car and set up in your living room or nursery. This means you do not have to pack diaper bags or rush out of the house in those first exhausted weeks.

Our process is built around two people being on-site. One of us handles the photography while the other acts as an assistant. This ensures a pair of hands is always near the baby, focusing entirely on their comfort and safety. We use sanitized wraps and soft, natural fabrics to create those classic, curled-up poses.

Our editing process is just as gentle as our shooting style. We focus on natural skin tones, gently removing transient marks like baby acne without making the image look over-processed or plastic. If your baby is fussy or just needs a break, we pause. There is no ticking clock on our end. We work at the baby's pace, ensuring that by the end of the session, you have not just images, but a stress-free experience that preserves these fleeting early days.
