About Behind the Scenes: My Process & Philosophy
Before you book, know that I never force a pose. Whether it is the iconic froggy pose or a simple, wrapped portrait, every image is a composite of two shots with an assistant supporting your baby’s head and wrists at all times. Your baby’s comfort is not just a priority, it is the entire foundation of my process.
When you step into my private studio in OMBR Layout, Banaswadi, the first thing you will notice is the quiet. I keep the temperature warm to keep your baby cozy, and the lighting soft to mimic natural, soothing conditions. I have been photographing newborns for over seven years, and I have learned that the baby is always in charge. If they need a feed or a cuddle, we stop.
My process relies on safety first. When you see those complex poses in my gallery, know that they are composite images. My assistant and I support your baby at every single second. We never force a baby into a position they are not happy with. This is not just about getting a picture. It is about preserving the tiny, curled-up details of their first 15 days before they begin to stretch out.
I want you to walk away from our session feeling like you actually had a break. You do not need to bring props or outfits. Just bring yourselves. Whether you choose a simple, wrapped session or want an heirloom album to hold your memories, I am here to capture the raw, honest connection that makes your family yours.

I’m Kavitha. I am a photographer, but mostly I am a mom who knows that those early, sleep-deprived days are messy and beautiful. I will handle the baby, the props, and the lighting so you can just take a breath.
