About Designer Langa Voni & Lehengas

When we design your Langa Voni, we focus on the construction, such as the Can-Can volume and the placement of the Zardozi work, so you can move comfortably without worrying about the pleats shifting. Whether it is a heavy raw silk skirt for your reception or a lighter, flowy organza piece for your Mehendi, I make sure the outfit fits your body and your energy perfectly.

Designing your outfit is a conversation. We start by talking about your style, what colors you love, and how you want to feel. Whether you are opting for a traditional look with a Kanchipuram silk skirt or something more contemporary, my goal is to create a piece that feels like an extension of you.

Technical details matter. I use double-layer Can-Can mesh and canvas reinforcing in my lehengas to get that perfect ballroom flare without the weight. For the blouse, I use a princess cut or three-dart padding for a structured fit. Every piece is finished with overlocked enclosed seams, so the embroidery threads do not irritate your skin while you are celebrating.

Since many of my clients are looking for something that respects tradition but feels fresh, I love experimenting with color-blocking and mixing fabrics. A royal blue blouse with a hot pink skirt, or a classic Kalamkari print paired with modern embroidery, allows you to make a statement that is entirely your own. I work with clients virtually across India, guiding you through the sketching and fabric selection process so you get a perfect result, even from home.
