How We Craft Our Sound

What happens in the jam room acts as the blueprint for every performance. When you watch these rehearsal clips, you are seeing the negotiation between traditional Indian sounds and modern musical arrangement. Alish often starts with a single Sher (couplet), and from there, the band builds the structure. The tabla provides the heartbeat, the flute adds a soulful layer, and the electric guitar brings in the rock edge.
