People often ask if I use store-bought melt-and-pour blocks, but the secret to this clarity is my own hot process formulation. It is a delicate balance of oils and lye that requires precise temperature control to achieve that glass-like finish. If you are looking to order these for gifts or learn the technique yourself, understand that curing time and ultimate clarity depend heavily on the specific fragrance oils and pigments we choose, as some scents are notorious for clouding the final result.

True soap transparency is not about using a pre-made base from a craft store. When I make these in my Shanti Nagar studio, I use a specific hot process method. Through carefully managed heat and precise saponification ratios, I can turn oils and lye into a base that lets light pass right through.
