About Our Artisan Collection
When you pick up one of these bars, you are holding the result of a 4 to 6 week curing process. This slow method is what keeps the natural glycerin intact, giving you that rich, creamy lather commercial bars cannot match. Every swirl and texture you see here is created by hand in my Malad studio, ensuring no two bars are exactly alike.
The Science Behind the Craft
The secret to these bars is the traditional cold-process method. Unlike mass-produced soaps that use synthetic detergents, I focus on saponified vegetable oils, shea butter, and cocoa butter. This approach keeps the skin barrier healthy rather than stripping it dry.
Why Natural Matters
I avoid palm oil, synthetic fragrances, and preservatives. Instead, the colors and textures come from nature itself:
- Turmeric & Saffron: Used for that natural golden glow and gentle exfoliation.
- Activated Charcoal: To deeply cleanse without harshness.
- Kaolin & Mineral Clays: Providing a silky, detoxifying wash that feels creamy on the skin.
A Note on Small Batches
Because I craft these in small batches, the inventory is limited by my production schedule. If you find a texture or scent you love, it is best to secure it quickly. The curing time means I cannot rush the process to meet sudden demand, as the soap needs time to harden and reach its optimal pH level. These are not just soaps, but my commitment to quiet luxury for your daily routine.
