An entryway is where the city fades away. We design these spaces to be more than just a threshold, creating calm, functional moments that set the tone for the rest of your home.

This solid teak entry screen and main door create a powerful first impression. I design entry interfaces that are not just doors, but handcrafted statements about the quality and care invested in the home.

This image of an entryway I designed was featured on the cover of a magazine. The minimalist black metal console table, round mirror, and terracotta-colored wall create a simple yet powerful composition.

A view of the entry interface, featuring a sleek console table I designed. The piece is crafted from black powdered metal, providing a sharp, graphic contrast to the warm wood doors and terracotta floor.

This entryway moment, which was published in a magazine, shows how I use simple forms and strong material contrasts. The slim black console table stands against a white wall, framed by warm teak doorways.

I was honored to have my work featured on the cover of Livingetc. This shot of a dining space I designed captures my philosophy of using natural materials, color, and light to create essential, calming spaces.

An alcove in an entryway, featuring a custom teak cabinet with a Jaisalmer stone top. I design these small moments to be both beautiful and practical, offering storage and a surface for art and objects.

This entry alcove features a custom teak cabinet I designed. It provides a warm welcome and a place to pause, showcasing the client's art and setting a tone of craftsmanship for the home.

A proud moment, seeing this serene bedroom corner I designed featured in a magazine. It validates my belief that simple, well-crafted spaces can have a powerful and peaceful impact.

The dining space at the Barefoot House, featuring a custom oak table and chairs against a deep green wall. This project demonstrates my approach to creating enveloping, atmospheric spaces for living.

A living room I designed, featuring a custom sofa and window seat. This space is all about creating comfortable, light-filled areas for the family to relax and enjoy their home.

About Entryways & Published Work

Designing an entryway is about managing the transition from Mumbai's frantic pace to the quiet of your home. Whether it is a solid teak screen or a built-in alcove with a Jaisalmer stone top, we focus on integrating functional storage with a sense of visual pause. The goal is to give you a place to set down your bags and breathe before you step further inside.

Every project we take on starts at the threshold. We treat the entry not as a mere hallway, but as a deliberate interface, a buffer zone where craftsmanship takes center stage.

Our Approach to Materiality

We prefer natural, honest materials like solid teak, brass, and stone. You will see this in the custom consoles and doors we build, designed to handle daily wear while aging gracefully. Our furniture is never ready-made. If you need storage, we do not just add a cabinet; we engineer it to feel like part of the wall, using recessed handles and custom joinery to keep the aesthetic clean and uncluttered.

Recognition and Clarity

Being featured on magazine covers like Livingetc reminds us that people value this clear, minimal approach. It is not about the publication, but about the clarity of the work. When we design a home, we look for these specific spatial moments, such as a niche for an artwork, a shadow line on a door, or the texture of a stone console. These details are what turn a generic apartment into a sanctuary.

Technical Standards

We work with high-quality, marine-grade plywood for structure and finish with PU matte or satin coatings. Every piece of joinery, from wardrobes to entry screens, is constructed with traditional mortise and tenon techniques, ensuring that the furniture is not just beautiful to look at, but built to last.
