Pottery Workshops & Creative Experiences
Explore our handbuilding pottery sessions, designed for everyone from absolute beginners to those looking for a creative escape. No wheel, no experience—just mud, focus, and a bit of magic.
This is the feeling I hope to share in my studio. The pure, simple joy of getting your hands messy and letting go. It’s about the process, not perfection.
Looking for a unique way to celebrate an anniversary or birthday? My clay date workshops for couples are a perfect way to connect, laugh, and create a shared memory you can hold onto.
I believe a family that clays together, slays together. My studio is a space for all ages, where families can unplug from screens and create something wonderful side-by-side.
Pottery is a fantastic way for teams to unwind and connect. Here I am guiding the team from Triumph Motorcycles through a special Valentine's Day workshop, swapping horsepower for hand power.
Escape the city with me. My weekend pottery retreats by a serene lakeside near Mumbai are a chance to immerse yourself in nature, creativity, and calm.
This is where the magic happens. Watch as a simple piece of clay, shaped by a beginner's hands, is transformed into an elegant, functional bowl after firing and glazing.
For those looking to turn curiosity into a hobby, my 10-session beginner's course is the perfect start. It’s wonderful to watch students like Stuti find their creative voice in clay at their own pace.
Ready for a deeper dive? In my specialized workshops, you can learn traditional Japanese techniques like Kurinuki, which involves carving a functional piece from a solid block of clay.
About Featured
Before you book, please note that our studio focuses entirely on handbuilding techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab rolling. We do not use potter's wheels. This approach allows you to slow down and build your piece entirely by hand, ensuring that even as an absolute beginner, you create a functional ceramic item that is uniquely yours.
How We Work with Clay
Our workshops are rooted in the belief that the process matters as much as the result. Because we use handbuilding rather than a wheel, every piece develops character through the slight imperfections of human touch. Whether you are pinching a mug, coiling a pot, or slab-building a dish, you are learning techniques that have been used for centuries.
Choose Your Experience
- Beginner Sessions: Perfect for a first-time dip into the craft. You will learn the basics and walk away with a functional piece like a bowl or mug.
- Private Clay Dates: Designed for couples or small groups to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or just spend quality time together away from screens.
- 10-Session Course: For those who want to turn curiosity into a hobby, this series covers everything from foundation techniques to glazing chemistry.
- Corporate Workshops: A different way to bond. We bring the clay to your team, offering a meditative break from the boardroom.
From Clay to Keepsake
After your session, your work doesn't just disappear. We take care of the technical side. Every piece is dried, fired in the kiln, and glazed by our team to make it food-safe and durable. Your creations will be ready for collection at our Powai studio in approximately 3 to 4 weeks. If you are joining us for a weekend retreat near Vaitarna, we transport your work back to the studio for the same professional finishing process.
We provide all materials, including stoneware clay and tools. You just need to bring yourself and a willingness to get a little messy.
