We were thrilled to design the exhibition space for Oorjaa, a sustainable lighting brand, at India Design ID. The goal was to create a dark, dramatic backdrop to showcase their beautiful, handcrafted lights.
This is a walk-through of a chic and minimal mock-up apartment we designed for Godrej Properties. We focused on creating a cozy, impactful space that feels both aspirational and livable.

Temporary spaces have a different kind of urgency. When we designed the Oorjaa booth for India Design ID, the priority was creating a dark, dramatic backdrop to make their handcrafted lights the only thing that mattered. For us, these projects are not just about installing a setup, but about capturing attention in a crowded room with a distinct visual narrative.
Special projects, like exhibition stalls or mock-up apartments, let us play with different materials and moods without the constraints of a permanent retail shop. We zoom in on the soul of the brand.
In a mock-up apartment, the challenge is making a small footprint feel expansive and inviting. We use textures, warm lighting, and layered textiles to create a sense of belonging for potential buyers. With exhibitions, it is about drama and focus. We want people walking by to stop, look, and stay a while. It is high-energy work, often involving quick turnarounds and late-night creative sessions, but we love the intensity of it.
