Signature Architectural Projects and Design Philosophy
A selection of our work defining our approach to architecture: raw, contextual, and deeply collaborative.
A minimalist concrete residence designed to merge with the landscape. This project features a green roof that provides natural insulation and allows the structure to become an extension of the rolling hills, demonstrating our approach to sustainable, nature-integrated architecture.
A conceptual design for an office building in Defence Colony, New Delhi. The facade uses colored glass fins to create a dynamic play of light and shadow, transforming the building into a vibrant urban landmark, especially after dusk.
An intricate physical model for a multi-level residence in New Delhi. We use models as a primary tool to explore spatial relationships, scale, and light, allowing us and our clients to understand the project in three dimensions long before construction begins.
A work-in-progress detail of a brick facade. We explored various pixelated patterns to create a textured, visually engaging surface, showcasing our hands-on approach to material experimentation and craftsmanship on site.
The interior of a compact workspace designed for a journalist. Large glass panels flood the space with natural light, while the use of oriented strand board (OSB) on the walls and ceiling creates a warm, textured, and cost-effective environment.
A typical model-making session in our studio. This collaborative and hands-on process is fundamental to our practice, allowing us to refine every detail and ensure the final design is thoughtful and well-executed.
An exploration of rammed earth and concrete as building materials. The distinct layers and textures highlight the natural beauty of earth-based construction, a sustainable technique we employ for projects in sensitive ecological contexts like the hills of Almora.
The journey from vision to reality for a 150,000 sq ft factory. This video captures the immense scale of the project and the structural precision required to bring such a demanding industrial design to life.
About Featured
Before a single brick is laid, we spend hours at our workshop table cutting foam and wood for physical models. We do not rely solely on digital screens; by building in miniature, we test exactly how light hits a wall or how a corridor flows, ensuring the final structure feels intentional rather than just computer-generated.
Architecture is rarely a linear process. Our featured projects represent the moments where our design philosophy—minimalist, contextual, and material-heavy—met the reality of construction.
The Material Voice
We believe materials carry their own weight and meaning. In our work, you will see us leaning into the honesty of rammed earth, exposed concrete, and brick. When we work in the hills of Himachal or Uttarakhand, we are not interested in imposing a city-style structure onto a mountain slope. Instead, we use stepped foundations and local stone to ensure the building feels like it grew out of the landscape.
Process over Product
Whether it is a 150,000 sq ft factory or a journalist's compact workspace, our methodology remains identical. It starts with site analysis—sun path, wind direction, and privacy. From there, we move to physical model-making. This is the stage where we catch errors that a 3D render might hide. It is how we explore the 'chiaroscuro' of a facade or the structural viability of a cantilevered roof.
Designing for Context
In dense urban settings like New Delhi, the challenge shifts. How do we create privacy and calm without shutting the world out? Our solution often involves kinetic facades, pixelated brick patterns, or careful glazing layouts that bring in light while blocking the noise. We treat the building skin as a functional tool for climatic control, not just an aesthetic choice. We invite you to look closely at these projects not as finished pictures, but as the result of a long, sometimes demanding meditation on how space should function.
