Urban Architecture and Facade Design
We transform urban buildings into context-aware structures, utilizing raw materials like brick, steel, and concrete to create distinct identities in the city landscape.
An office tower under construction, with its brick facade taking shape beneath the scaffolding. The green safety netting creates an unintentional, large-scale art installation, reminiscent of the work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
The process of giving an existing building a "surgery" with a new architectural skin. This project involved adding a brick and steel exoskeleton to completely transform the building's appearance and function.

A facade study exploring patterns of colored fins for an urban building. This rendering tests how the composition of colors works at night.
A facade detail for a modern residence, showing how open spaces like balconies are "scooped out" from the main volume. The design uses a mix of wood-textured panels and exposed concrete.
A facade concept for a residential building featuring curved concrete balconies. This study in brutalist forms explores how to create soft, sculptural elements with a typically rigid material.
A 3D model of a curved metal lattice designed to be cantilevered from a building's facade. This exoskeleton provides solar shading and creates a powerful visual statement.

About Urban Statements: Commercial & Residential Projects
In the dense urban fabric of Delhi NCR, a building's exterior is its primary handshake with the city. We move beyond standard glass facades, opting instead to experiment with brick exoskeletons, kinetic metal lattices, and sculptural concrete forms. Our design process starts with physical models, not just to visualize massing, but to test how light and shadow interact with your building throughout the day. We ensure your space does not just occupy the street, it participates in it.
Architecture as a Dialogue
Urban architecture should not be a disconnected object dropped into a plot. Whether we are working on a commercial office tower in Okhla or a private penthouse in Gurugram, we treat the building as a living part of its environment.
The Process of 'Building Surgery'
For existing structures, we don't believe in total demolition unless necessary. We often approach facade design as a surgical intervention, adding new skins—like a brick exoskeleton or a metal mesh—to transform both the look and function of the space. This approach respects the existing structural bones while providing a contemporary aesthetic upgrade.
Materiality and Light
We don't rely on screens alone. Our design studio is filled with physical models, which are essential for understanding how a facade will look in real-time lighting.
- Brickwork: We explore varied textures, from industrial exposed brick to intricate jali patterns that filter sunlight and ensure privacy.
- Steel & Metal: We utilize steel not just for support but as expressive elements, creating cantilevered lattices that serve as both sun-shading and iconic visual statements.
- Concrete: By playing with forms and textures, we push concrete beyond its brutalist roots, creating soft, curved balconies and sculptural volumes.
From Concept to Construction
Every project is a journey. We remain involved from the initial site analysis—where we study wind and solar paths—all the way to site supervision. We coordinate with facade fabricators and structural engineers to ensure the final build stays true to the initial conceptual intent. If you have an urban plot and are looking to create something that stands out without being loud, we should talk.
