My approach to adaptive reuse and heritage conservation is rooted in rigorous research and deep respect for history, a commitment that has been validated by prestigious international and national bodies.

Posing proudly next to the unveiled UNESCO award plaque at The Doon School. This was a moment of immense pride for my team and our clients.

Attending the award ceremony at The Doon School, surrounded by the project stakeholders and the school community who made this achievement possible.

My work was showcased at the prestigious India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale (IAADB) 2023, held at the Red Fort. It was an honour to be part of this national celebration of design.

About Awards & Recognition

Receiving an Honourable Mention from the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for The Doon School restoration is not just a badge of honor for me, but a validation of our specific non-invasive methodology. It confirms that you can modernize a heritage structure, integrating MEP and HVAC systems, without erasing the authentic patina that gives a building its soul.

My recognition from the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for the restoration of The Doon School's main building highlights my dedication to a non-invasive conservation philosophy. This project proved that historic educational structures can accommodate 21st-century technology, such as upgraded electrical and HVAC systems, without compromising their original architectural integrity.

Beyond specific project awards, participating in the India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale at the Red Fort was an opportunity to engage in a national dialogue on the future of our built environment. It allowed me to share my views on 'Samatva'—the equality of women in architecture—and how we must move beyond demolition as a solution.

Serving on the jury for the Outlook Responsible Tourism Culture & Heritage Awards further deepens my commitment to the broader ecosystem of heritage. By evaluating the work of others, I stay connected to the evolving standards of sustainability and community engagement.

These accolades serve as more than just professional markers. They are proof that when we treat a building as a living entity rather than a relic, the results resonate with both experts and the communities who use them daily. Whether you own a colonial bungalow, a city haveli, or a historic educational institution, my approach to conservation remains the same: research-led, technically sound, and deeply respectful of the original craft. I do not just restore facades. I ensure the structural health and cultural relevance of your property for decades to come.

I believe that heritage conservation is a conversation between the past and the present. When I take on a project, my goal is to remain an invisible steward, ensuring the building thrives in the modern world while keeping its history intact.
