Madhubani Inspired Hand-Painted Wall Art
I bring the bold patterns and vibrant stories of traditional Madhubani art right to your home. Every painting here is hand-sketched and painted with love, capturing divine motifs on quality paper.
My most popular Madhubani piece, showing the eternal love between Radha and Krishna. The fine lines in the background and the bright colors of their clothing are characteristic of this intricate art style.
A different take on Radha and Krishna, focusing on their faces and expressions. This colorful 12x12 inch painting uses simpler forms but still captures the feeling of young, divine love.
This small, 9x10 inch framed painting of Radha and Krishna is perfect for a small space. I used a bright yellow background to make their profiles stand out, creating a simple and heartfelt piece.
About Madhubani Inspired Art
When you order a Madhubani piece, you aren't just getting a print; you are getting a hand-sketched original. I use heavy-weight 250-300 GSM cartridge paper or canvas boards and frame them in sturdy, dark synthetic wood, so they are ready to hang on your wall the moment they arrive.
Why Madhubani Art
Madhubani, or Mithila art, is all about those bold geometric patterns and vibrant, earthy colors that seem to pop off the wall. I fell in love with this style because it feels like storytelling through paint. Whether it is the divine play of Radha and Krishna or subtle nature motifs, the focus is always on fine lines and expressive faces.
My Process
Every stroke you see is hand-painted. I do not believe in digital prints or shortcuts. I start with a pencil sketch on high-quality paper or canvas boards, building up the details with acrylics or gouache.
- Small Works: Perfect for desks or shelves (7x7 inches to 10x10 inches).
- Statement Pieces: Great for living room walls (12x12 inches to 14x16 inches).
- Custom Commissions: If you have a specific deity or color palette in mind, I can create something larger (up to 20x24 inches) just for you.
Finishing Touches
I want these to be ready to display. All my paintings come in durable, 0.5 to 1.5-inch synthetic wood frames, usually in dark brown or black to ground the bright colors. Each comes with a clear glass front and a secure metal wall hook. If you are looking for a thoughtful, budget-friendly gift or a pop of tradition for your home in Bengaluru or across India, I am here to help.
