About Handmade Indian Folk Art Paintings
What I Do
I put my heart into every painting you see here. My art is all handmade, and I’m totally hooked on Indian folk styles. Each piece is crafted stroke by stroke, hoping it brings a little joy and color into your space.
Folk Art Styles I Paint
- I love working with Madhubani art - especially Radha Krishna themes. The bold colors and fine patterns are something else.
- Kerala mural wall art is another favorite. I use earthy reds, greens, and golds, often painting gods, goddesses, lotus flowers, and the hamsa (swan).
- Sometimes I switch it up and paint Kathakali faces or Lord Srinathji, just to keep things interesting.
What My Paintings Show
My canvas tells stories. I paint gods and goddesses like Krishna, Lakshmi, and Saraswati, plus animals like peacocks, swans, and horses. You’ll also spot iconic cultural symbols – the Kathakali dancer’s face is a regular on my easel.
All Handmade, All Me
No prints, no shortcuts. I sketch and paint everything myself. You’ll find small pieces (7x7 or 9x10 inches) for desks, and big ones (up to 14x18 inches) for your walls. Most are framed in dark wood and ready to hang.
Why I Do It
I want art to be easy to gift and to own, so I keep my pieces accessible. They’re perfect for housewarmings, birthdays, or even just to make someone’s day a bit brighter.
