About Small Art, Big Joy
Since these pieces are roughly 9x10 inches, they are perfect for small spaces like a work desk or a bedside table. I mount them in sturdy, dark synthetic wood frames so they arrive ready to hang or stand, meaning you do not need to hunt for framing shops after ordering.
When I started painting, I wanted to ensure that owning authentic, hand-painted art was accessible for everyone. These smaller pieces allow me to bring the intricacy of Kerala murals or the bold geometry of Madhubani into a format that fits comfortably on a shelf or a wall.
Each painting is created on 250-300 GSM heavy-weight cartridge paper or illustration board. I sketch every line by hand, using acrylics or gouache to achieve those vibrant colors you see in the photos. Once the painting is finished, I secure it in a 0.5 to 1-inch synthetic wood frame with standard 2mm clear glass and an MDF backing. It comes with a wall hook already attached, so you can unbox it and place it immediately.
Because these are small, they are my favorite items to gift. Whether you need a housewarming token, a birthday present, or a small piece of devotion for your own prayer space, these artworks offer a traditional aesthetic without taking up too much room or budget.
