Night Lighting Design for Luxury Landscapes

A garden should not vanish when the sun sets. We design lighting systems that use shadow, warmth, and precise placement to extend the living experience of your home well into the night.

At night, the landscape lighting at "The One" residence transforms the home. Uplighting on the trees and soft lights within the garden beds create a warm, inviting glow that highlights the textures of the plants and the modern lines of the architecture.

The pool deck at "The One" is softly illuminated at night, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere. The lighting reflects off the water and highlights the large indoor living spaces, showcasing the seamless connection between the home and its landscape.

The entrance of "The One" residence is dramatic and welcoming after dark. Strategic lighting accentuates the large canopy, the texture of the walls, and the lush plants, guiding visitors toward the front door with a sense of quiet grandeur.

At the Club Drive House, we integrated linear LED strips into the boundary wall. This not only illuminates the perimeter but also creates a strong graphic statement, turning a functional element into a piece of art that complements the home's modern facade.

A daytime view of the Club Drive House boundary wall shows the subtle integration of the linear lighting strips. The design is clean and minimal during the day, transforming into a key feature of the landscape at night.

A wide shot of "The One" residence at night reveals the full effect of the landscape and architectural lighting. The entire property glows, with each layered volume and garden area carefully illuminated to create a cohesive and breathtaking nighttime vista.

The landscape design for "The One" includes extensive gardens that are brought to life at night with carefully placed lighting. This view shows how the illuminated plants and trees frame the modern structure, creating a beautiful dialogue between nature and architecture.

About this collection

We treat light as a building material rather than an afterthought. Whether it is integrating linear LED strips into a boundary wall to create a graphic edge or using focused uplighting to highlight the rough texture of a tree’s bark, our approach is to build layers of light. This method ensures your outdoor space remains usable, safe, and visually captivating long after the sun goes down.

Beyond Basic Illumination

Many lighting plans rely on generic, bright floodlights that wash out the subtle details of a garden. We believe in a more deliberate approach. A well-lit garden should feel like a sanctuary, not an office parking lot.

Our lighting strategy focuses on three key layers:

  • Accent Lighting: We place fixtures to highlight specific architectural features, such as stone cladding on a facade or the sculptural form of a mature tree. This adds depth and drama to the landscape.
  • Path and Wayfinding: Functionality is essential. We design path lighting that guides movement through the garden without blinding the eye, ensuring the transitions between your home’s interior and the garden feel seamless.
  • Ambient Glow: We use low-intensity, warm white LED lighting to create a soft, inviting atmosphere. This is particularly effective around pools, patios, and seating areas where you want to relax.

Integrating Light into Architecture

For projects like the Club Drive House, we moved away from standalone fixtures. Instead, we worked with the civil contractors during the construction phase to recess linear LED strips directly into the boundary walls. This turns a functional perimeter into a piece of art at night.

Similarly, at 'The One', our lighting design focuses on the facade and the outdoor canopy. By carefully selecting IP68-rated fixtures and coordinating with our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) layouts, we ensure that the wiring is concealed and the lighting feels like a natural part of the structure, not an addition.

Our design process includes detailed lighting layouts and MEP planning, ensuring that every light has a purpose and a place, from the driveway cobbles to the feature trees in your courtyard. We aim for a balance where the light enhances the architecture, revealing the textures and forms you worked so hard to create during the day.
