This design for a sculptural dining area is all about creating a moody and immersive atmosphere. We layered dramatic lighting, a textured carpet, and a striking dining table to craft a space that feels unapologetically luxurious and rich with intention.

About Additional Work

In this sculptural dining space, we focused on how light interacts with dark textures to create a sense of theater. The contrast between the matte charcoal walls and the polished, patterned tabletop is deliberate. It is meant to hold a dinner conversation just as well as it stands alone. When we design these layered, moody environments, we think about how the room changes from the harsh midday sun to the dim, warm glow of evening.

This is the concept for the 'Flow' bench, an object that is simultaneously a seat, a piece of art, and a sensory experience. Its curving form evokes memories of canyons, rivers, and waves on a sandy beach.104
