This project is a masterclass in outdoor lighting. We used multiple layers, from LEDs under the seating and walkway to lights within the pergola and uplighting on the plants, to create a truly luxurious and inviting atmosphere.

About Outdoor Lighting & Evening Ambiance
Lighting is the difference between a balcony you ignore at night and one where you actually spend your evening. We focus on layering light, using soft LEDs tucked under seating to create a floating effect, paired with focused uplighting on your greenery to add depth. It transforms a dark corner into a place you genuinely want to sit for a cup of tea or a quiet chat.
When we plan lighting for a terrace or balcony, we move past the standard 'one bright bulb' approach. The goal is to make the space usable and inviting once the sun goes down.
We start with the basics of outdoor-grade hardware. Everything we install, from strip lights to wall sconces, must handle Delhi's extreme heat and seasonal rains. If it isn't waterproof, it isn't going on your wall.
We break our design into three functional layers:

Ambient Light: This is your foundation. We use warm white string lights or dimmable pendant lights over seating areas to create a soft, non-glaring atmosphere. Think of this as the main mood setter.

Task Light: If you have a small bar counter, a reading chair, or a dining table, we make sure that specific zone has clear, directed lighting. You shouldn't have to strain to see your book or your glass.

Accent Light: This is where the magic happens. We use directional spotlights at the base of plants or architectural walls to highlight textures. By washing a wall in light or highlighting a climber, we add visual depth, making even a small balcony feel significantly larger at night.
We often integrate LED strips directly into the carpentry of decks or floating benches. This is a subtle touch that defines the edges of your seating area without feeling intrusive.
