Competitive Speed Skating Coaching for Kids

Our speed skating program is designed for athletes who have mastered the basics and are now looking to test their limits. Unlike our recreational batches, this program shifts focus to technique, stamina, and the mechanics of competitive racing.

Why Competitive Skating with Us?

We train at the Viswavidypeet School in Varthur, which offers the dedicated track space necessary for high-speed practice. Training here involves:

• Technique Drilling: We break down the 'C' curves and crossover techniques to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Simulation Training: We conduct timed lap trials and start-line reaction training to get kids comfortable with the pressure of a real race environment.
• Strength & Conditioning: Skating fast requires specific fitness. We incorporate 15 minutes of dry-land plyometrics before hitting the track to prevent injury and boost power.
• Guidance: Our Senior Head Coach, who has a proven track record of preparing district-level winners, works directly with students on race strategy and recovery.

While we fully support kids preparing for inter-school and federation races, we always check in with them: 'Are you enjoying this?'
