Skating isn't just about showing up; it is about the precise transition from recreational skating to a competitive discipline. Whether you are moving from high-ankle to low-ankle speed skates or mastering the tactical 'double push', our training at St. Francis School in Koramangala and Play Arena in Sarjapur is designed for skaters who are ready to treat the sport with total commitment.
At Team ERSC, we do not believe in one-size-fits-all training. We break down our programs by discipline because each requires a unique set of physical and mental attributes.
Our Disciplines
- Speed Skating: We focus on aerodynamic posture, weight transfer, and race smarts. If you are preparing for 500m+ races, we drill continuous lap endurance and drafting techniques.
- Inline Hockey: Training centers on team strategy, puck control, and the agility needed for fast-paced game situations. We have skaters representing the club at both State and National championships.
- Alpine & Downhill: This requires immense courage and core control. We guide our athletes through the technical nuances of navigation and high-speed stability.
- Ice Skating: Since roller and ice mechanics differ, our specialized coaching bridges the gap, teaching skaters how to handle the unique glide and pressure of the ice rink.
The ERSC Method
We combine on-skate technique with off-skate dryland conditioning. Every session includes a mix of strength, stamina, and agility training. You will spend 20 to 30 minutes on core strengthening and lunges before even lacing up.
