About Thematic Musical Productions
Why I Love Thematic Musical Productions
Music is my way to connect with bhakti - not just singing, but really diving into a story or a feeling together. I grew up loving the classic kutcheri vibe, but sometimes a simple concert isn't enough to get to the core of a powerful theme. That’s why I started experimenting with thematic productions. It’s not about tossing a bunch of songs together - it’s about guiding everyone through a real journey, sometimes with a bit of dance, sometimes with a narrator, always with heart.
What Makes These Productions Special
- Each show is a Carnatic storytelling performance, built around one strong, meaningful theme.
- I’ve collaborated with dancers (like Padma Shri Dr. Narthaki Nataraj), narrators, and musicians from all over. Sometimes it’s a big stage, sometimes it’s a cozy hall, sometimes an online series.
- One example, "Chidambara Rahasyam," blended music, narration, and dance to explore Lord Shiva’s story as the cosmic dancer. The crowd was silent, totally drawn in - that’s when you know it’s working.
For All Kinds of Audiences
- These aren’t just for the big festivals or temples. I love small, intimate setups too, like my “Sing with the Stars” sessions where local kids join me on stage. Watching them light up is pure joy.
- Every production is different, but the goal is always the same: to make people feel and explore, together.
If you’re looking for more than a regular concert - maybe a devotional music theater kind of experience, or a collaborative music and dance production - this is for you.

My Story
Hey, Spoorthi here! Wild to think it's been a decade since Super Singer Junior days. Folks still tell me they watched me grow up on stage—makes me feel all kinds of grateful. Carnatic music is my home, thanks to Ranjani-Gayatri akka-s. Sometimes, magic just happens—like singing bhajans on the street in Udupi, or doing a thillana mid-air for my 18th! Life’s been a mix of kutcheris, skydives, and jamming with friends. Blessed? For sure.
My Work
Carnatic Concerts & Fusion Shows - I do Carnatic vocal concerts—solo, duet, or with my Carnatic fusion band. Also, themed musical storytelling gigs.
My Singing Style - Rooted in Carnatic, but I like to mix it up—expect expressive Carnatic vocals with a twist.
Concert Vibes - Could be a deep, classical evening or a wild fusion night. Depends on the mood and the crowd!
Audience - All are welcome—whether you’re a hardcore rasika or just want a musical night out.
Playback Singing - Just sang 'Manave' for Barroz (Kannada film). First playback, super fun!
