Spoorthi Rao
As a student of the legendary Ranjani-Gayatri, I believe music is a profound, spiritual journey. I share this through traditional Carnatic concerts, modern fusion shows, and playback singing.
Carnatic Fusion Live Performances
Available across India
I perform live shows where I mix Carnatic raagas with rock and jazz using electric guitar, drums, and traditional instruments for a high-energy fusion concert that gets the crowd moving.
Carnatic Vocal Concerts
Available across United States
I sing Carnatic vocal concerts—solo, duet, or devotional—with a full ensemble, and I perform both in India and internationally.
Playback Singing
Available across India
I sing playback for films and albums in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, blending Carnatic roots with different genres to match the song’s emotion and style.
Thematic Musical Productions
NA
I create Carnatic music shows built around one theme, combining live music, narration, and sometimes dance to tell a story instead of just performing songs.

My Story
Hey, Spoorthi here! Wild to think it's been a decade since Super Singer Junior days. Folks still tell me they watched me grow up on stage—makes me feel all kinds of grateful. Carnatic music is my home, thanks to Ranjani-Gayatri akka-s. Sometimes, magic just happens—like singing bhajans on the street in Udupi, or doing a thillana mid-air for my 18th! Life’s been a mix of kutcheris, skydives, and jamming with friends. Blessed? For sure.
My Work
Carnatic Concerts & Fusion Shows - I do Carnatic vocal concerts—solo, duet, or with my Carnatic fusion band. Also, themed musical storytelling gigs.
My Singing Style - Rooted in Carnatic, but I like to mix it up—expect expressive Carnatic vocals with a twist.
Concert Vibes - Could be a deep, classical evening or a wild fusion night. Depends on the mood and the crowd!
Audience - All are welcome—whether you’re a hardcore rasika or just want a musical night out.
Playback Singing - Just sang 'Manave' for Barroz (Kannada film). First playback, super fun!
