- Format: Continuous performance for 90 to 120 minutes with brief storytelling and context for the songs.

Traditional Carnatic Kutcheri
Musical Structure
- Repertoire: Traditional Margam starting with Varnam, followed by compositions of the Trinity (Tyagaraja, Dikshitar, Syama Sastri).
- Improvisation: Extensive Manodharma including Raga Alapana, Neraval, and Kalpana Swaras.
- Centerpiece: Ragam Tanam Pallavi (RTP) demonstrating technical mastery.
- Finale: Thani Avartanam (percussion solo) and lighter Tukkadas to conclude.
The Ensemble
- Violin: 1 Professional Violinist for melodic shadowing.
- Percussion: 1 Mridangam Vidwan (Double-sided drum).
- Upapakkavadyam: 1 Ghatam or Kanjira artist for rhythmic depth.
- Drone: 1 Live Tambura player.

- Aesthetics: Performed in traditional Kanjivaram silk attire.
- Tech: Requires a mandatory 45-minute sound check prior to the event.
Live Fusion Band

About Carnatic Vocal Concerts
My music is my way to connect with something bigger than myself - every concert is a chance to share that spark of bhakti (devotion) and peace. I’m always learning, and I owe a lot to my gurus, Vidushis Ranjani-Gayatri, who've shaped my journey.

Duet Performances:
I love singing with other vocalists - the vibe is totally different, more like a musical conversation. Sometimes we pick a theme, like focusing on a composer or just diving into devotional music. -
Devotional Carnatic Bhajan Concert:
These are all about the spiritual side, filled with bhajans and songs that create a peaceful, immersive space.
Who’s On Stage With Me
A Carnatic concert isn’t a one-person show. My ensemble usually includes violin, mridangam, ghatam or kanjira, and tambura - the full Carnatic music ensemble format. Everyone brings their own magic to the stage.
Beyond Tradition
I also love experimenting - I’ve sung for productions that blend music, dance, and stories, like “Chidambara Rahasyam.” Keeps things fresh and exciting.
Where I Sing
Based in India, mostly around Bangalore, Chennai, and Mumbai, but I do international Carnatic concert tours too. If you want music to travel, I’m up for it!

My Story
Hey, Spoorthi here! Wild to think it's been a decade since Super Singer Junior days. Folks still tell me they watched me grow up on stage—makes me feel all kinds of grateful. Carnatic music is my home, thanks to Ranjani-Gayatri akka-s. Sometimes, magic just happens—like singing bhajans on the street in Udupi, or doing a thillana mid-air for my 18th! Life’s been a mix of kutcheris, skydives, and jamming with friends. Blessed? For sure.
