About My Process & Events
When you commission a piece, you see exactly how it happens. Every project I take on includes a time-lapse video of the creation process, so you get to watch the layers build from start to finish.
I often get asked about the time it takes to move from a blank page to a finished piece. Whether it is a digital caricature for a family gift or a realistic portrait, I work in stages. It starts with a conversation about your photos and the story you want to tell. Once we agree on the concept, I send over the initial sketch. This is where we finalize the layout and mood.
For digital commissions, I use Procreate on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. This allows me to record every stroke. That is why I include a 15-30 second time-lapse video with every order. You see the decisions I make, where I add shadow, how I pick colors, and how the piece comes together.
I also love taking my art into the community. You might have seen me at the Chitra Santhe festival or various ITC Gardenia showcases. Painting live is different. It is raw, immediate, and teaches me how to capture a mood quickly. If you want to see my work in person before we start a project, let me know if you are around Bengaluru. I often participate in local exhibitions and cultural events, and I would be happy to show you my current series on light and shadow.
