Joyful Art and Creative Workshops
Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refine your technique, my workshops are about finding the joy in every stroke. Let’s create something beautiful together.
A glimpse into a packed paper craft workshop at Gunjan Montessori pre-school in Doomdooma. The students are all sitting on the floor, completely engaged in learning and creating together.
Look at all these happy faces and waving hands. This is a selfie from the second day of my workshop in Dhemaji, filled with enthusiastic young artists.
Students are focused and learning new skills during the first day of my art and craft workshop at Doomdooma college. I love moving around the class to give everyone personal guidance.
My students at Gogamukh College proudly displaying the landscape paintings they created during our workshop. It is so rewarding to see them all holding their finished artwork.
Standing next to a completed landscape painting on a whiteboard during a demonstration at the Gogamukh College workshop. I always start by showing the students the techniques step by step.
A smaller group of students from the Doomdooma college workshop, sitting together and showing off their beautiful landscape paintings. Each one has a unique touch.
Students outside Doomdooma college holding up their colorful cartoon drawings. We focus on making art fun and accessible, and these bright creations show their wonderful progress.
I am surrounded by curious students at the Gogamukh College workshop as I demonstrate a drawing technique. This kind of close interaction is what makes in-person classes so special.

About Joyful Art Workshops
I believe that the best way to learn art is by doing, which is why my sessions are hands-on from the very first minute. We focus on the process rather than perfection, creating a space where a 7-year-old and a grandparent can sit side-by-side and learn at their own pace. You do not need expensive supplies to start—just curiosity and a willingness to get a little paint on your hands.
How We Learn
I want art to be accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in Assam or beyond. My teaching approach is designed to be as flexible as possible:
- Online Live Workshops: Join me from anywhere via Google Meet or Zoom. These are perfect for those who want to learn at home. We focus on specific mediums like watercolors or creative upcycling in small, interactive batches.
- In-Person Camps: We host these at community venues, schools, and colleges across areas like Dhemaji, Doomdooma, and Guwahati. These are lively, collaborative events where we cover everything from watercolor landscapes to clay modeling.
- Studio Mentorship: For those in Guwahati looking to take their skills to the next level, my studio classes offer semi-private training in acrylics, oils, and portraiture.
What We Cover
My curriculum is built to help you grow, whether you are a complete beginner or an aspiring artist. We explore:
- Painting Techniques: Watercolor riverscapes, acrylic blending, and composition.
- Drawing & Sketching: Basics of sketching, portraiture, and fun cartooning styles.
- Creative Crafts: I love showing how to make art from waste materials, paper, and bamboo—proof that you don't need fancy tools to be an artist.
Why Join?
It is never too early or too late to start. I have seen students who were nervous about holding a brush walk away with a painting they are proud to hang on their wall. My goal is for you to finish every session not just with a piece of art, but with the confidence to keep creating on your own. Plus, every online workshop participant receives a digital certificate of completion as a keepsake of our time together.
