Paintings: Florals, Landscapes & More
I believe art is dil se, or from the heart. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking to unwind, come play with colors and brushes in a space where happy accidents are always welcome.
A close-up look at a vibrant floral bouquet I painted using acrylics on paper. In my workshops, I teach how to create these beautiful, expressive flowers with simple brush techniques.
A quick study of sunflowers against a bright blue sky. This is a great beginner project to practice bold colors and energetic brushstrokes in acrylics.
A peaceful seascape I painted, titled 'Sukoon' which means peace or tranquility. My landscape classes focus on how to capture the mood of a place, from the sky and water to the smallest details.
"The mountains are calling and I must go." This abstract mountain landscape was inspired by the words of John Muir. I used flowing acrylics to create layers of misty, serene peaks.
A painting of the Taj Mahal, framed by a beautiful blue archway. This piece is about finding a unique perspective on a familiar landmark, a creative challenge I often give in my workshops.
A cheerful still life of yellow tulips and hydrangeas in a mug. This is a lovely subject for anyone starting with acrylics, as we learn about composition and color harmony.
A tropical scene with palm leaves and bright orange flowers against the sea. This painting is all about capturing the feeling of a warm, breezy day by the coast.
A watercolor and ink study of different types of cacti and succulents. This is a fun way to practice botanical illustration and play with shapes, patterns, and colors.
A whimsical watercolor painting of a family of llamas. Sometimes, inspiration comes from the most unexpected places, and it's fun to create something playful and imaginative.
Another view of my Taj Mahal painting, focusing on the details of the architecture and the evening sky.
About Paintings: Florals, Landscapes & More
You don’t need to be an expert to walk into my studio. In these painting sessions, I provide everything—canvas, paints, and brushes—so you can just show up ready to create. We focus on techniques like blending acrylics or using palette knives to capture textures, keeping the environment relaxed and beginner-friendly.
When I guide you through a painting workshop, my goal isn't just to help you finish a canvas, but to help you find your own creative rhythm. We start with the basics, like understanding brush control and mixing colors, before moving onto specific themes like floral bouquets or serene mountain landscapes.
For those new to acrylics, we look at how to layer paints for that rich, vibrant finish. If you want to try something more tactile, we explore the palette knife to add depth to your flowers or skies. You might come in feeling a bit nervous about the perfect stroke, but I promise, sab chalega (everything goes). We laugh, we learn, and we fix the little mistakes together.
My sessions are held in small batches of 3 to 6 people in my Noida studio. This ensures you get personal attention, whether you are trying to master a still life or just want to experiment with abstract styles. We also take breaks for chai and conversation, making the experience as much about meeting like-minded people as it is about art. If you are in the NCR area and looking for a therapeutic hobby, these workshops offer a gentle introduction into the world of painting. Come, let’s make a mess and create something beautiful together.
Anjali Mittal
Hi, I’m Anjali. I’ve been a student of life and art for decades, and my favorite part of the day is helping others find their spark. I don’t teach from a textbook; we learn by playing with colors, talking about inspiration, and creating art that feels like us.
