About Artisanal Decor & Lighting
When I design something like my 'Unity Platter,' I start with the material weight and how the hand-painted motifs interact with the grain of the wood. It is those technical choices—not just the final visual—that ensure a piece functions well in your daily life rather than just sitting on a shelf gathering dust.
Every item in this collection is a direct output of my design process, which starts on paper and finishes in my Noida workshop.
I believe in honesty in design. When you pick up a brass T-light holder or one of my sculptural candles, you are not just getting a mass-produced accessory. You are holding a piece that has gone through hand-sketching, material testing, and skilled labor. For instance, my team and I spend considerable time on the finishes—like the crackle paint on mirrors or the high-gloss PU on our inlay work—to ensure they handle the humidity and wear of a busy Indian home.
My approach to decor is rooted in heritage. I love working with brass, Pachhikari inlay, and natural stones because they age beautifully. Whether it is a tray inspired by nature or a wall sconce that changes the mood of a room, my goal is the same: to create something that feels personal.
