Luxury does not have to mean waste. I transform reclaimed wood and factory remnants into bespoke furniture and art, blending modern elegance with responsible, conscious crafting.

As a community, we need to be more sensitive towards the waste generated in our factories and sites. This video shows how we upcycle leftover materials, like creating this beautiful brass flower installation from scrap cuttings.

Why use boring leather for paneling? This video shows how we can create unique, textured wall panels from leftover leather pieces, turning waste into a beautiful design feature.

These unique decor trays were created for our Vasant Kunj farmhouse project. The textured surfaces are made from upcycled materials, blending modern sophistication with sustainable practices.

A set of two side tables featuring stone layering and a free-form hand-textured wooden base. The design process, from sketch to finish, often incorporates leftover materials to create exclusive, one-of-a-kind pieces.

This coffee table is an expression of passion for artistic pieces. The base is hand-painted with a checkerboard pattern, a technique that can be used to upcycle and give new life to older furniture.

A look at my world of design, where I look for something new each day. This includes finding creative ways to use materials, like the reclaimed brick wall and wooden bar top in this lounge area.

About Conscious Crafting: Sustainable Design

I actively sort our factory waste—wood, leather, brass scraps—into usable lots. Instead of discarding these, we turn them into signature accent pieces like textured wall panels or intricate inlay trays. When you look at these pieces in my gallery, realize they were born from materials that would have otherwise gone to a landfill. This is my definition of conscious crafting: luxury that is responsible and completely unique.

Why Sustainable Design Matters

In my fifteen years of practice as an architect, I have realized that the most interesting design solutions often come from constraints. When we design for a space, we generate offcuts of high-quality materials. Rather than viewing these as waste, I see them as potential. Whether it is using leftover leather to create textured wall paneling or repurposing reclaimed wood into a custom coffee table, my goal is to reduce our footprint without sacrificing the aesthetic.

My Sustainable Process

  • Material Sorting: My team and I categorize factory remnants—seasoned teak, marine-grade plywood, and brass strips—immediately after production.
  • Upcycled Artistry: We use these materials to create exclusive accent pieces. You won't find these in mass-produced catalogs. Every hand-painted tray or brass inlay work is a one-off item.
  • Client-Centric Design: If you have an existing piece of vintage furniture that you love but feels dated, I work with you to redo or refurbish it, giving it a new life rather than replacing it.

Why Choose Bespoke Sustainability?

Choosing conscious crafting means you are investing in a story. You get a piece of furniture or decor that is not only built to last but also reflects a commitment to the environment. From hand-carved wooden sculptures to reclaimed brick lounge areas, these elements add layers of texture and personality to your home. If you want a space that feels personal, elegant, and ethically made, let us discuss how we can integrate these sustainable practices into your project.
