See why we call this a home away from home. From hands-on learning to joyful celebrations, our classrooms are designed to nurture your child’s natural curiosity and independence.

This is what a day at Prayag looks like. Children are deeply engaged in their chosen work, learning at their own pace in a calm and prepared environment. This focus is the foundation of a lifelong love for learning.

Practical life skills are central to our approach. Here, children are not just making Moong Dal Chaat; they are learning collaboration, independence, and the joy of creating something for their community to share.

The "Prepared Environment" is a core Montessori principle. I design our spaces to be child-sized and accessible, inviting children to explore freely and develop independence without needing constant adult help.

We believe in connecting with nature. A child watering plants learns about responsibility, cause and effect, and how to care for living things. These small tasks build a big sense of purpose.

Our community is a vibrant tapestry of cultures. Celebrating festivals like Onam together, with children creating a beautiful Pookalam, teaches them about traditions, teamwork, and the beauty of shared joy.

Learning isn't just academic; it's about the whole child. Our yoga sessions help children develop body awareness, balance, and mindfulness, giving them tools for physical and emotional well-being.

I am incredibly proud of what our children can achieve when their curiosity is nurtured. Aarna's record-breaking talent with the Rubik's Cube is a testament to the incredible potential that lies within every child.

About this collection

What you see here is the result of twenty years of refining our prepared environment. Look closely at the hands-on materials in these photos, whether it is pouring exercises for motor skills or complex math apparatus for logic. Our guides do not stand at a blackboard. We observe and intervene only when a child needs a gentle nudge toward the next developmental step, ensuring they learn at their own speed, not someone else's.

The images here capture the essence of the Montessori method in practice. When you see children deeply focused on a task, that is the absorbent mind at work. We move away from the traditional model where teachers direct every action. Instead, we create a space where your child feels ownership over their work.

Every item you see, from the child-sized furniture to the specific Montessori work on the shelves, has a purpose. We believe that independence is built through these small, everyday tasks. When a child prepares a simple snack or waters a plant, they are learning about responsibility, sequencing, and the value of their own contribution to the community.

Our Bengaluru centers in JP Nagar, Jayanagar, and Padmanabhanagar operate on the same philosophy: mixed-age groupings. This vertical structure allows younger children to learn from older peers, while the older children solidify their knowledge by teaching others. This social dynamic fosters empathy and leadership long before they reach primary school.

Whether your child is just starting their journey in our toddler program or transitioning into the primary cycle, our focus remains the same. We prioritize emotional resilience and cognitive development over rote memorization. If you want to see how this translates into a typical day for your child, we invite you to visit our classrooms.

For over two decades, my team and I have focused on nurturing the whole child rather than just academic output. We do not believe in forcing lessons, but in creating a safe environment where children are empowered to explore, fail, and succeed on their own terms.
