Creative Art Activities & Montessori Programs for Kids

At Ace Montessori, we believe art is about the process, not just the product. Our creative corner is where messy hands, bright imaginations, and Montessori principles meet to help children discover their unique potential.

Our hoop painting setup allows even our youngest toddlers to engage in large-format art. This activity encourages movement and creativity as they paint on a unique, transparent canvas.

The color splash activity is a fantastic way for toddlers to learn about cause and effect. Using a small hammer, they get to see colors burst onto the paper, creating their own unique splatter art.

This hilarious nose painting game is more than just fun; it's a creative challenge that helps children with coordination and spatial awareness as they try to paint with a cone attached to their face.

Popsicle painting is a perfect summer-themed art project. The children use popsicle-shaped stamps to create colorful patterns, exploring different color combinations and stamping techniques.

For Ganesh Chaturthi, we got our hands dirty with this wonderful clay modeling activity. Each child created their own little Bappa, learning about the festival through a tactile, hands-on experience.

We celebrated a safe and beautiful "Phoolo ki Holi" using only flower petals. The children enjoyed the sensory experience of the petals and created beautiful, natural art together.

A look back at our wonderful parent-child puppet workshop. It was a day filled with teamwork, creativity, and lots of laughter as families brought their puppet characters to life.

About this collection

If you are worried about the mess, do not be—that is where the real learning happens. Whether it is our nose-painting challenges or clay modeling sessions, we focus on helping your child build coordination and confidence through hands-on play rather than seeking perfect results.

Why Process Art Matters

In our Creative Corner, we move away from the typical worksheet approach. You will notice in our photos that the children are deeply engaged in process art. This means the focus is on the act of creating—using a hammer to splash colors, or balancing a cone to paint—rather than what the final picture looks like. These activities are designed to build fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and cognitive flexibility.

Our Hands-on Approach

From popsicle painting to making sturdy newspaper bags for our "best out of waste" theme, we use everyday materials to teach complex concepts.

  • Sensory Development: Our color splash and clay modeling stations help children understand textures and cause-and-effect relationships in a tangible way.
  • Collaborative Creativity: Projects like our giant Children's Day mural show how we encourage teamwork, teaching children to share space and ideas.
  • Cultural Context: We celebrate festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Phoolo ki Holi through tactile art, helping children connect with their roots while honing their hand-eye coordination.

Our programs in Padmanabhanagar and Jayanagar are 100% vegetarian, ensuring a pure and safe environment for all our little artists to explore, make mistakes, and celebrate their small wins.
