Beginner Crochet Workshops in Bangalore
Need a mental health break or a new creative hobby? Join my beginner-friendly 'Sip & Stitch' workshops in Bangalore—where we slow down, learn a new skill, and find a little peace in the yarn.
This is what my workshops are all about: crochet, coffee, and connection. It’s a chance to relax in a cozy cafe, learn a new skill, and create something beautiful, one stitch at a time.
Look at this wonderful group from one of my recent Sip & Stitch sessions. We start as strangers but leave as a community of creators, all bonded by a shared love for yarn and learning.
I always say, "Depression me jaane se accha hai, come learn crochet with me." This craft was my therapy during tough times, and I love sharing that peace and sense of accomplishment with others.
Want to learn but can't join in person? I’ve packed all the essentials into my beginner-friendly DIY crochet kit. It has everything you need to start your journey from the comfort of your home.
I am so proud of my students. Many come to me having never held a hook, and soon they are creating beautiful pieces. Their progress inspires me every day and proves that anyone can learn this skill.
From a 50-year-old woman doing something just for herself to a mother and daughter learning together, my workshops bring people from all walks of life to connect and create. It’s a beautiful thing to witness.
I had the incredible opportunity to bring my crochet workshop to the brilliant students at the National Law School of India. It was proof that creativity and mindfulness have a place everywhere, even in the busiest of lives.
About Featured
I keep my cafe sessions small, usually capped at 10 participants, because I want to actually sit with you and fix your tension issues, not just lecture from the front. You’ll walk away with an ergonomic hook, three balls of practice yarn, and enough confidence to finish your first project, regardless of how shaky your hands feel at the start.
Crochet isn't just about making things; it’s about finding a moment of calm when the rest of the world feels too loud. My 'Sip & Stitch' workshops, hosted at cozy spots like Third Wave Coffee, are designed for people who feel overwhelmed by the city's noise.
We teach dheeme dheeme (slowly, slowly). You don't need to be artistic or have experience to join. I've taught law students, busy mothers, and total beginners who thought they couldn't even tie a knot. We cover the four core stitches: chain, single, double, and slip.
What to expect at a workshop:
- Small Groups: My priority is one-on-one attention so you don't get frustrated.
- The Starter Kit: Every participant receives an ergonomic hook, practice yarn, scissors, and a printed guide to take home.
- Post-Workshop Support: You get access to our private WhatsApp community where you can ask questions, share your progress, and get tips long after the session ends.
If you can't make it to a cafe, my DIY kits bring that same curriculum to your living room with step-by-step video tutorials. Whether you are looking for a weekend activity in Jeevan Bima Nagar or a therapeutic hobby you can do at home, these sessions are about more than just craft—they are about reclaiming your time.

I’m Zaina. I turned to yarn when anxiety felt like it was winning, and now I teach others how to stitch their own peace of mind. Whether we’re meeting in a park or a cafe, I’m here to make sure you feel proud of every loop you make.
